Population
Over 190,000 people live on the Dodecanese. Rhodes has a population of 115,290. Almost half of the inhabitants live in Rhodes Town. At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, the population moved away from the islands. Tourism has caused the population to rise again.
