Climate and Weather

The climate of Paros is similar to the other Cycladic islands. It is sunny and warm in the summer months with peaks well above 30 °C, and particularly mild in the winter months. In the evenings it can be cool and humid.

Especially during the months of July and August, the strong but somewhat cooling Meltemi wind blows from the north. Usually, it starts blowing during the morning until the early evening hours.

The best time to visit Paros as a tourist is from April to early June and from September to early November. In September and October, however, you may be troubled by swarms of flies and mosquitoes.
