The provincial capital of Saskatchewan is Regina. One of the most striking sites in Regina is the Wascana Centre, one of the largest urban parks on the continent. The Saskatchewan Provincial Legislative Building is also impressive and looms imposingly over Wascana Centre. Outside the capital, you can hike in beautiful Prince Albert National Park and then head north to La Ronge.
A popular tourist destination, the Qu'Appelle Valley is home to the true spirit of Saskatchewan. With over 100,000 freshwater lakes, Qu'Appelle has beautiful beaches, camping and recreation facilities, legendary sport fishing and some of the most exciting whitewater canoeing on the continent.
There are three national parks in the province of Saskatchewan, Grassland National Park, Prince Albert National Park and Fort Walsh.
