There are museums on the history of Ulanbaatar and the National Museum of Mongolian History, not forgetting the opera for the music lovers.

Bayan Zag is known as the Flaming Rock. It is a seminal rock formed by reddish-brown deposits. This tourist spot is best viewed early in the morning or just before the sun sets. At these times, the effect is maximum and the cliffs light up like giant burning coals.
