Language
The official language of Panama is Spanish. In addition, English and Indian languages are spoken.
Religion
Roman Catholicism is the main religion in Panama (85%). However, Protestantism is also growing. In addition, there is a fairly large Muslim community and smaller numbers of Hindus and Jews. The Indians have their own religious practices, but are increasingly being won over to Catholicism.
