Population composition:The largest population group is the Malaysians(more then 50%). There are also groups of Chinese (21%), Indignious people (11%) and Indians (6%) and various smaller groups.

Language

The official language is Malay ( Bahasa Malaysia). Furthermore, many Chinese dialects, Tamil and English are spoken.

Religion

There are several religions practiced in Malaysia, the distribution is roughly as follows: Muslim (55%), Buddhist (19%), Christian (7%), Hindu (7%), Chinese (11.6%) and Other (0.5%).
