Vacations and Sightseeing

Monrovia is the capital and largest city of Liberia, founded in 1822 and named after US President James Monroe. Located on the Atlantic coast, Monrovia's beautiful beaches are the main attractions of this city, where visitors enjoy water sports activities such as swimming, fishing, and snorkelling. The waterfront market is the city's largest and most popular market, where shopaholics can buy textiles, African clothing, local crafts and traditional goods.

The Sapo National Park is located in the Sinoe region. It is considered the top national park in Liberia. A visit to the Liberian rainforest is an unforgettable experience and offers the chance to see monkeys, leopards, chimpanzees, antelopes, elephants, and anteaters. The park is only accessible on foot. The western boundary is formed by the Sinoe River and you can take boat trips across the river.
