In Sudan, the population is predominantly Muslim and oriented towards the Arab world. (Arabs 70%). There are also Fur, Beja, Nuba and Fallate. The population of (Northern) Sudan is 37,345,935 million (2017).

The official language of Sudan is Arabic. Furthermore, Dinka, Nubian and several dialects are spoken.
Religion
Most of the inhabitants of Sudan adhere to Islam (70%). They live mainly in North Sudan. There are also followers of indigenous religions (15%) and Christians (10%).
