Vacations and Sightseeing
Samoa's attractions include natural beauty, such as rainforests, waterfalls, dunes, beaches, the parks and much more. Visiting the local markets is also one of the favourite pastimes among tourists visiting Samoa. Here you will find exotic tropical fruits and vegetables, intricate handmade wood carvings, lava lavas (sarongs) printed in all colours under the sun and the freshest fish in the world.
Lalomanu Beach on the south-eastern tip of Upolu is one of the most pristine beaches in Samoa. Here you can relax in paradise is the local slogan. The sun shines on a strip of endless white sand, you can cool off in the blue lagoon or doze off as a gentle breeze brushes your skin. Lalomanu lies on a translucent lagoon and all the way along the south coast to Lotofaga is a protected marine reserve. Here you will find colourful tropical fish species. You can observe them armed with a snorkel and flippers or with a diving cylinder.
